Hello to anyone with enough free time to find this little blog spot. I'm not an avid blog reader nor am I a very prolific writer, but perhaps this would be a good place to share images and random thoughts that might be interesting to a few. For fun, I'm posting a few studies of objects that have caught me eye. In this case it is a small plastic monkey.
Introductions are in order. I am an artist who owns and runs a print studio/gallery. I love to photograph and draw, and sometimes these things find themselves into the prints I make.
I am married for 39 years and have one grandson, who may find his way into this blog as well. My husband, son, daughter in law and daughter are all major parts of my life and my time with them is very precious.
Subjects I am interested in at the time are justice out the place of need instead of the places of power; design from the place of need instead of the place of power; politics; religion; art; grandchildren, ethics. I know this is kind of broad, but there it is.
I have just returned from a conference where the ethics of justice was addressed. I have a lot of thinking and reading to do about this.
